Official Conformity Assessment

Our TÜO experts and auditors have the appropriate expertise to carry out conformity assessment. Additionally they boast many years of experience in interdisciplinary fields such as: science, engineering, economist and law. Our experience has shown us, that a mixture of theoretical and practical knowledge provides the basis for an effective cooporation between our customers and us.

The activities of the TÜO include, among other things, periodic inspection of waste disposal companies according to § 56 KrWG and management systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 14.001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45.001 and/or ISO 22.003, ISO 50.001 as well as other industry-specific regulations and standardised specifications.

Since January 1st 2010 TÜO has been regularly monitored and accredited by the DAkkS; before which this was carried out by the GAZ Society for Accreditation starting 2000., TÜO became active in the field of recycling and waste disposal companies through its first admission in 1997 by the Ministry of Environment and Transport of the State of Baden-Württemberg.

Since 1st January 2010 DAkkS has been the national accreditation body of the Federal Republic of Germany. It acts according to Regulation (EC) No. 765/2008 and the Accreditation Law (AkkStelleG) in the public interest as sole service provider for accreditation in Germany. Shareholders of DAkkS are the Federal Republic of Germany, the federal states and the Federal Association of the German industry e. V. (BDI) represented economy each representing one third. In order to be able to carry out its sovereign accreditation tasks, the DAkkS was mortgaged by the Confederation. As an authorised body the DAkkS is subject to federal supervision. The DAkkS applies German administrative law for its sovereign accreditation activities. www.dakks.de

In addition to the existing DAkkS accreditation, the TÜO is accredited and regularly monitored by the Egyptian government office EGAC, a department of the Ministry of Industry and Economy. ​
